Campaign Reels

Sensing is a brand of smart capsule clothing that is sensitive to people’s skin and to the impact the fast fashion industry has on the environment. Made from natural, plant fibre based garments that are free from toxic dyes and chemicals, their clothes are designed to build a stress-free relationship with the wearer’s skin and the ground they’re going to go back in. It was crucial to capture these details and intentionally mindful layers of the brand visually. For the brand launch, I worked on these video edits from concept to creation, focusing on the various elements that make the brand unique.

The Balance Capsule

Capsule clothing is a collection of interchangeable items that maximize the number of outfits that can be created. The aim is to have an outfit suitable for any occasion without owning excessive items of clothing. Sensing’s capsule clothing is a limited collection of classic and essential pieces that are versatile enough for night and day. They can be mixed and matched with each other to create fresh looks that are both functional and stylish.

People of Sensing

As human beings, we are filled with insecurities. Our constant struggle with being better, looking better and feeling better brings us down and dims our light. The truth is each one of us has a story in the making that we should celebrate every day. Sensing is here to encourage you to bare yours by being part of a diverse community of happy people whose confidence shines through when they wear a Sensing garment.

Mindfulness

To be mindful is to be conscious or aware of something. In the case of Sensing, they use mindful innovation to source their fiber, blend their yarn and design clothes in a way that has a minimal impact on your skin and on the earth’s soil. 

Skin Smart Clothing

Skin-smart Clothing is clothing that is good for your skin. It is designed to be irritant-free and comfortable to wear for a long period of time. Sensing Skin-smart fabrics are made from natural, plant-based fiber and are free from toxic chemicals and dyes. This enables them to decompose naturally into the soil without polluting it. 

Process

Over the course of a few months, we had shot a lot of footage for the brand with models, fabrics, and also some behind the scenes footage from the campaign shoot itself. We wanted to bring all of that together to create an honest window into the brand through these reels which the brand later used for launch. Starting with jotting down the themes of each video to carefully selecting the music and the shots, I was the lead on making all the decisions with respect to editing and designing graphics as well.
