Ugaoo Rebrand Shoot

Ugaoo is India’s leading D2C urban gardening brand looking to make plants a meaningful and rewarding part of our lives. From their magnificent farms to thoughtful plant-health innovations, Ugaoo has been growing & delivering beautiful plants, gardening supplies and accessories across India, increasing the community of urban plant parents one balcony, windowsill and work desk at a time! During my year at Thought Over Design, we worked with the founder Siddhant Bhalige for a strategic re-branding exercise which included an elaborate photoshoot and a brand film that I got to be a part of, along with a brand new identity, visual language and assets for the brand.

During the course of working with Thought Over Design, I had a chance to be casted in the Ugaoo Brand Film. The conceptualisation and creative direction for this film was done by Thought Over Design, while TheVibe Studios produced it.

Process

After a lot of meticulous planning and organisation, we were able to cover a lot of ground during shoot – we delivered over a total of 83 shots over a 2 day shoot. I was leading creative decisions and execution from the moodboarding, to selecting backdrops, lighting references, casting, styling – as part of the design studio that created the new identity for them, I was responsible to ensure that the new brand purpose translated into the images and reflected the brand ethos.

Clearica Product Launch

Brand Identity, Visual Language, Art Direction, Post Production

Clearica is a range of skin care formulated with plant science. The brief was to achieve a strong brand visual that represents plant science clearly and doesn’t drive the brand into a typically medicinal space. I worked with a small team at The Glitch to ideate and design a strong brand identity & visual language for them while also developing meaningful brand touchpoints that aligned with their brand purpose.
